Speaking at the opening ceremony on the morning of November 12, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center and Head of the Fair Organizing Committee, said that Vietnam's agricultural exports have reached more than 200 countries and territories, reaching a turnover of 62 billion USD in 2024.
According to Mr. Tien, in 2025, despite many difficulties, thanks to the foundation for restructuring the agricultural sector and a solidly developed market system, the export result of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in 10 months reached 58.13 billion USD, an increase of nearly 13% over the same period in 2024, it is forecasted to strive to reach 70 billion USD for the whole year.
In the context of extensive globalization and severe climate change, the agricultural and environmental sector is rising strongly, affirming the national position in the international arena, and at the same time becoming one of the pioneers in green and sustainable development - Mr. Tien emphasized.
Following the success of previous editions, the AgroViet International Agricultural Exhibition 2025 brings together more than 100 domestic and foreign units, with more than 200 standard booths and 500 m2 of exhibition floor. The international booth area has the participation of Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan (China), Australia. At the same time, more than 20 domestic provinces and cities also participated.
Hundreds of unique agricultural products are introduced, from ST25 rice, Ngu Hiep durian, Vinh Long green-skinned grapefruit, Cao Bang dong vermicelli, Na Chi Lang, Vu Dai village fish warehouse to 3-5 star OCOP products, geographical protection products and typical organic products.
The fair also has an international exhibition area, introducing many high-end agricultural products from New Zealand, Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan (China), creating a colorful picture of trade.
In particular, the highlight of the Fair is the International Exhibition Area for post-harvest machinery, equipment, materials and processing technology, with a scale of 1,000 m2, introducing new technologies, from seed sowers, blenders, agricultural drying equipment, irrigation technology, post-harvest processing to renewable energy solutions and agricultural bypass treatment.
In addition, AgroViet 2025 also brings many experience spaces, such as agricultural e-commerce application areas, livestream sales shows, introducing Vietnamese agricultural products on international exchanges and updating digital transformation trends in agricultural product consumption.
With large scale, rich content and clear orientation, AgroViet 2025 is not only a forum for connecting supply and demand, but also a forum for technology exchange, investment cooperation and promotion of Vietnamese agricultural products to the world, affirming the determination of the agricultural and environmental sector in building a green, clean, modern agriculture, ready for international integration.
