MoMo's solutions simplify the authentication process, complying with Circular 40 of the State Bank to avoid the situation where users are stopped from making transactions if they do not complete them before January 1, 2025. Biometric authentication on MoMo also aims to enhance the level of security and safety for users when making transactions.
The Biometric Update feature deployed by MoMo since June 2024 has supported millions of MoMo users to complete biometric authentication on the application.
Since November 2024, MoMo has completed coordination with the Ministry of Public Security to integrate electronic authentication services right on the VNeID application. With this method, MoMo users can conveniently and securely self-authenticate biometrically through VNeID.
