Urgently restore and plant seedlings after Tet

After the Tet holidays, the atmosphere at paper flower gardens in Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Long province becomes bustling. Farmers take advantage of pruning branches, changing soil, and fertilizing to help plants quickly recover and enter a new growth cycle.

Farmer Nguyen Thi Phuong of Vinh Thanh commune said that this year her family sold more than 1,000 large and small products to the market. The selling price is also the same as every year, not increasing sharply but still ensuring profit.

According to Ms. Phuong, purchasing power during Tet is at an average level, and the market does not have many fluctuations. "Although prices have not increased, thanks to proactive seed sources and stable costs, the family still maintains income," she added.

Ms. Phuong said that after Tet is an important time to restore trees, create canopies and stimulate new shoots. If cared for properly, the trees will develop evenly, giving beautiful flowers on upcoming holidays.

According to Mr. Duc, about 60-70% of the output of the members in the recent Tet crop has been consumed. "This rate helps people feel secure in re-producing and preparing well for the new crop season," he added.

Mr. Huynh Van Duc said that for sustainable development, members need to continue to improve quality, diversify designs, and focus on creating artistic shapes to increase product value in the market.
