According to the Metric. vn data aggregation and exploitation platform, the TV (TV) and accessories industry is the fastest growing product group in the household electronics industry in e-commerce in the first quarter of 2026. Data shows that revenue of this group reached VND 348.6 billion, with a growth rate of 72% from January to March this year.
Going deeper into the market structure, Metric.vn experts found that smart TVs are the product line that leads growth. 7/10 products with the highest revenue are smart TVs. This trend shows that consumers prioritize TV lines that integrate platforms and applications to meet entertainment needs directly on devices.
The segment with the highest revenue is from 10 to 15 million VND, accounting for 26.1% of total revenue. Top 10 leading market brands such as TCL, LG, Samsung... have accounted for 88.6% market share in Vietnam.
At large retail systems, the TV market is also entering a vibrant phase. Consumers are no longer only interested in replacing old TVs, but also focus on the experience factor. Factors such as contrast, motion display capability, brightness, screen size, besides aesthetics... are prioritized by users when buying new TVs, in the context of increasing demand for home entertainment.
The 2026 World Cup, taking place from June 11 to July 19, with 48 participating teams and over 100 matches, promises to be an important milestone, promoting the demand for purchasing and upgrading equipment, especially TVs to enjoy matches.
To anticipate this trend, major companies have quickly taken action. From the end of 2025, Samsung has emphasized that in 2026, they will expand the Micro RGB TV line with size options of 55, 65, 75, 85, 100 and 115 inches.
TCL, with the advantage of mastering the entire value chain from panel production to finished products, recently launched the exclusive SQD-Mini LED TV generation in Vietnam, with the introduction of the C8L line. This TV model has a super high-density backlight system with 4,032 bright areas and brightness up to 6,000 nits, helping to reproduce deep contrast and absolute sharp details.

In addition to technology, the TV market is also witnessing strong competition between manufacturers in terms of design and screen size, in order to meet the diverse needs of consumers. Recorded at large retail systems such as Dien May Xanh, FPT Shop or MediaMart, in the high-end segment, customers can easily choose TVs with sizes from 55 to 65 inches, 75, 85, and even up to 98, 100 inches.
In addition, manufacturers also continuously launch lifestyle TV models, including picture frame TV lines with sophisticated, artistic designs, suitable for the living space of many families. In this segment, manufacturers are fiercely competing with TV models with minimalist designs, harmonizing with the surrounding furniture.
According to the assessment of research company TechSci Research, the TV market in Vietnam is experiencing compound annual growth of 5.94%, with the market size expected to reach more than 1 billion USD by 2030.

With those platforms, along with the approaching 2026 World Cup, the TV market in Vietnam promises to explode in the near future.
