The final round of the "Teen Model 2025" contest organized by director Nguyen Hung Phuc and Pink House Entertainment was held in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of domestic and international contestants.
During the competition night, the contestants took turns going through many competitions including: Talent, presentation, Self- seconded costume performance... Accordingly, teen model Nhu Dinh excellently conquered the judges to win the "Fashionista" award in the end.
In the Self-service Costume Performance competition, Nhu Dinh stood out in an evening gown designed by model Ha Kino. The "Hoa Song" costume is inspired by water wave motifs often seen in Chinese ceramic art.
The dress has a chest shape, a flared dress, the neck is inspired by the details on the gray ribs with a strong shoulder blades, accompanied by sparkling details.
When performing in heavy-duty costumes, Nhu Dinh did not encounter many difficulties because she had experience on the catwalk, so she easily conquered the evening gown with graceful and confident steps, expressing an image that was both graceful and powerful.
In addition to the self-service costume performance, Nhu Dinh and other contestants also performed ao dai, dynamic and healthy sportswear. According to director Nguyen Hung Phuc, Nhu Dinh is talkative and dynamic, and performs very seriously and professionally.
Nhu Dinh said that to prepare for the competition final, she has been practicing hard in the past time, in parallel with ensuring her studies. Every day, after completing the play to prepare for the senior exam, the 15-year-old model spends about two hours practicing catwalk skills, practicing posing, performing in front of the mirror, walking in high heels and wearing bulky outfits.
"Because I am studying at an international bilingual school, my study program is quite heavy. However, because catwalk is a passion, I try to balance my time. The contest is a memorable experience for me in my youth, giving me more motivation to try harder in the future" - Nhu Dinh said.
Nhu Dinh is currently a student at an international school in Ho Chi Minh City. She is good at many fields such as game programming, robot assembly, swimming, modern dance, acting and singing.
Every day, the child also practices catwalk by herself, learning more skills from international models through Youtube. In the future, Nhu Dinh hopes to continue pursuing a professional fashion career.
"Teen Model" is a contest held since 2010, a launching pad for teenagers with the potential to become future fashion models, with professional and methodical training orientation, learning to approach the fashion environment from working style to performance skills on catwalks.
The contest was interrupted for a few years, and in 2022, director Nguyen Hung Phuc decided to do it again with a new format. In 2025, "Teen Model" will return as a reality TV show.
Director Nguyen Hung Phuc said that he wants to internationalise the competition, so this year's format includes contestants who are foreigners or Vietnamese with Japanese, British, Philippine, Australian, Indonesian nationality...
