Prudential and initiatives to raise awareness of climate change response

    On May 27, at Tran Van On Primary School, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province, the event summarizing the program "Active health enhance" took place with the participation of more than 500 students, teachers, parents and representatives of the Board of Directors of 50 schools participating in the project, Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam Province, Tam Ky, Nui Thanh and Thang Binh Department of Education. The event also has the participation of organizers including Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Prudential), Prudence Fund and Thanh Dat Thanh Dat Junior Achievement Vietnam Center.

    From December 2024, the "Increased active health improvement" program has been implemented at 50 schools in Tam Ky City, Nui Thanh District and Thang Binh Province of Quang Nam.

    With the goal of minimizing health problems caused by climate change, the program is expected to improve the knowledge and skills of students, teachers, and parents through a series of diverse activities. The program aims to build an active health care ecosystem with the support of the whole school - family - student.

    Mr. Conor Martin ONeill, Deputy General Director of Prudential Vietnam, shared: At Prudential, we believe that supporting public health, especially for the younger generation, is an investment in a brighter future. This project does not only raise awareness in schools; it also reflects our long-standing commitment to building healthier and more sustainable communities in Vietnam.

    At the summary event, 50 outstanding initiatives in the "Proactive Health Care Initiative" contest were honored, with a total prize value of nearly 500 million VND.

    On March 22, the first inter-provincial Traffic Safety Festival organized by Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited (Prudential) in coordination with the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training and local partners attracted the participation of more than 500 students, parents, teachers and leaders at all levels and departments of Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Yen Bai provinces.
