UNIQLO Vietnam quickly provided necessities including: 170 boxes of milk, 170 boxes of water, 150 boxes of toilet paper, 41 boxes of cakes to Hue Central Hospital.
The brand also supported 200 million VND in cash to patients in especially difficult circumstances at the Hospital, and 200 million VND to support affected schools in the program "Together with people to overcome floods" of the Hope Fund, thereby supporting people to quickly stabilize their lives.
Along with the donation with a total value of 500 million VND, new UNIQLO outfits and more than 2,000 EUIQLO outfits were also donated to local people.
Mr. Akiyama Naoki, General Director of UNIQLO Vietnam, said: We would like to express our deep sharing through meaningful actions to soothe the losses and injuries of people, especially patients and people in difficult circumstances. With all our respect, we hope to contribute to helping Hue people stabilize their lives, and spread the spirit of mutual love in the community".
This is the second time this year that UNIQLO Vietnam has accompanied the Hope Fund to support communities affected by natural disasters.
