The Social Work Network at Da Nang Hospital is a connection between the Department of Social Work and departments and rooms, with the goal of providing the best support for patients and their relatives. This is the force that helps effectively implement support programs, psychological consultation, fundraising and humanitarian activities in hospitals.
The role of the social network of work does not stop at providing patients with material support but also spreading humanistic values, the spirit of sharing, helping patients have more confidence and motivation during treatment.
Mr. Le Duc Nhan - Director of Da Nang Hospital - said that after being perfected, the network was launched on the day of Vietnam Social Work - a day to honor the great contributions of social workers in the health sector.
In the current context, social work plays an important role in supporting patients in accessing health services, connecting support resources, as well as improving the quality of comprehensive health care.

Social workers are the bridge between hospitals and patients, between charitable organizations and those in need of help, contributing to building a more humane healthcare system. As a hospital that receives and treats a large number of patients, it requires the social work activities of Da Nang Hospital to be stronger and more diverse.
With many practical activities such as mobilizing support for hospital fees for poor patients, patients without relatives, organizing trips to take patients in difficulty to and from the hospital home or free barbers, loving bread cases... social workers have helped many patients in the past time both materially and spiritually.
I hope that, after being perfected and launched, the social work network with 100 health workers of the hospital, along with social workers, will continue to spread the humanistic and loving values to patients" - Mr. Nhan shared.
