On the morning of March 24, the Party Committee and Director of Da Nang Police announced the decision to reward collectives with outstanding achievements in the fight against crime of the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
Previously, under the close direction of the Director of Da Nang City Police, the police forces of units and localities promoted a proactive spirit, grasped the situation in the area and subjects, synchronously deployed solutions to prevent, fight, investigate and successfully discovered many cases. Many scammers, thieves, and robbers have been arrested, contributing to maintaining security and order in the city.
Typically, on March 22, 2025, the Criminal Police Department investigated, clarified and successfully arrested Nguyen Van Duc (31 years old, residing in Quang Tri province) who specializes in using high technology, taking over the right to use Facebook, defrauding hundreds of victims across the country, appropriating a total of more than 10 billion VND.
On March 13, 2025, Thach Thang Ward Police, Hai Chau District investigated, clarified, and successfully arrested the subject who committed 4 consecutive thefts at hospitals in the city, appropriating property worth more than 67 million VND.
On March 6, 2025, Phuoc Ninh Ward Police, Hai Chau District investigated and clarified a group of 3 teenagers who specialized in breaking locks, breaking into, and committing 5 consecutive thefts at stores and supermarkets in the city.
On March 20, 2025, My An Ward Police, Ngu Hanh Son District coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (Area 2) to quickly investigate, investigate, and successfully arrest the subject who robbed the property of a foreign tourist, and recover the property and return it to the victims.
To promptly encourage and recognize the above outstanding achievements, the City Police Director has proposed and the Chairman of the City People's Committee signed a Decision to reward the Criminal Police Department with 10 million VND; reward Thach Thang Ward Police, Phuoc Ninh Ward Police, My An Ward Police each unit with 03 million VND from the City Crime Control Fund.
