On July 26, according to Hung Yen Provincial Police, Chi Minh Commune Police said that they have coordinated with the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of the Provincial Police to strengthen the grasp of the situation in cyberspace.
Previously, on July 17, 2026, functional forces discovered 2 Facebook accounts with acts of commenting and sharing information on social networks with negative content, unverified, causing adverse effects on security and order.
Through verification, the commune police identified the users of the two accounts as Mr. N.H. A (born 1973) and Ms. T.T. P (born 1971), both residing in Chi Minh commune, Hung Yen province.
At the meeting, the two citizens admitted that their actions were wrong, and at the same time cooperated and were sincere with the police agency. Based on the nature, severity of the violation and the attitude of apologizing, the Chi Minh Commune Police reminded and requested them to strictly comply with the provisions of law. The two cases also voluntarily deleted the posts they shared, corrected the information on their personal pages and committed not to re-offend.
Chi Minh Commune Police recommends that people be alert and selective in information when participating in social networks; do not post, share or comment on unverified content; do not interact with reactionary websites that oppose the Party and State, and divide the great national unity bloc.
According to Chi Minh Commune Police, acts of posting and sharing false information, insulting the prestige of organizations and individuals or causing adverse effects on security and order can be handled according to the provisions of law.
The police force also requested people to raise their awareness of law compliance when using the internet and social networks, and at the same time actively coordinate with functional forces in ensuring network security, contributing to maintaining security and order in the locality.
