On May 5, Ha Tien Ward Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police issued an emergency detention order for: L.V. T (born in 2009), Nguyen Tran Minh Cuong (born in 2007), both residing in To Chau ward, An Giang province; Quach Van Vieng (born in 2007) and Vo Van Tien Em (born in 2006), both residing in Dong Thap province to investigate the act of "Disturbing public order".
Previously, at about 5 pm on April 30, 2026, L.V. T, Minh Cuong, Chi Cuong and Truong went out to play in the Mui Nai area, Ha Tien ward when they met a group of Tien Em, Vieng, Tri and Hung (identity unknown) driving motorbikes zigzagging and revving engines. A conflict occurred between the two sides, Trong provoked, challenged to fight and used his feet to kick Tri's motorbike and then left.
After that, Vieng's group chased after and stopped L.V. T's group's car in front of Nui Den cafe. Here, the two sides clashed, using surrounding objects to fight each other. As a result, Tri, Vieng, T and Minh Cuong were injured. After the incident, Hung fled.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and clarify the roles of related subjects, and at the same time pursue the escaped subject for handling according to legal regulations.
