A similar accident also occurred at around 3:45 p.m. on October 9, in front of 965 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Dong Hai 1 Ward, Hai An District. At that time, the motorbike driven by Ms. P.T.T (born in 1978) was heading from Dinh Vu intersection to Nguyen Binh Khiem overpass. When arriving at the above address, Ms. P.'s motorbike collided with a tractor-trailer moving in the same direction. As a result, Ms. T died on the spot.
Also on October 9, at around 6:30 p.m. on Nguyen Huu Cau Street, Hai Son Ward, Do Son District, a moving motorbike collided with a pedestrian crossing the street, causing the pedestrian to suffer a traumatic brain injury and later die.
In addition to the serious traffic accidents that killed 3 people, on October 9, there were 2 accidents in the area that injured 3 people. At 9:50 a.m. at TL354 in Tay Ham Duong village (Hoa Binh commune, Vinh Bao district), Mr. T.V.T was riding an electric bicycle and collided with an iron bar that Mr. T.V.C was leaving on the bike and sticking out onto the road. As a result, Mr. T was seriously injured.
At 10:20 p.m., at Dinh Vu - Cat Hai bridge, Km 5+045, Tan Vu - Lach Huyen road, Dong Hai 2 ward, Hai An district, 2 motorbikes driven by 2 men heading from DEEP C roundabout to Got Ferry collided with each other, injuring both of them.
The causes of the accidents are being investigated and clarified.
