At noon on July 29, Hospital 199 coordinated with benefactors to organize the distribution of 400 free meals to patients being treated here. A small meal cannot change anyone's life but can change the affection and way of life between people.

Many patients and their families treated at Hospital 199 were present at the Commercial Area an hour in advance waiting for the food distribution time. Each meal (including instant noodles, bananas, TH milk, bottles of mineral water, cakes) is balanced with nutrition, and the reason is that the members of the group all want to help patients eat delicious and delicious meals.

According to Ms. Hoang Trinh - Head of the volunteer group, a person connecting with benefactors, currently the meals that the group organizes are all ordered from the kitchen of a famous restaurant in Da Nang, so the issue of quality, nutrition and food hygiene and safety is always guaranteed. Moreover, when coordinating with Hospital 199, there will also be an additional quality management and nutrition department to supervise, so patients are completely assured.

Sharing her feelings when participating in a charity group giving free meals to patients for the first time, a number of volunteers said: "Seeing patients receiving meals happily, all our fatigue seems to have disappeared. Instead, it is a warm heart, because doing charity has contributed a small part to encourage and add the spirit of helping patients have more determination to treat their diseases".

Free meals are given out personally as a word of encouragement for patients to try to overcome their illness and recover quickly. As for philanthropists, those who participate in implementing the model of "compassionate eating" - each gift is a happiness when sharing difficulties with the community.
In the coming time, Hospital 199 will work with benefactors to support and effectively maintain the compassionate Meal model to have more free meals sent to patients being treated at the Hospital - Dr. Vo Thi Hong Huong - Deputy Director of Hospital 199 added.
