In 6 months, Thanh Hoa collected nearly 30 trillion VND in budget

In the first 6 months of the year, Thanh Hoa recorded positive results in many fields, with total state budget revenue reaching nearly 30 trillion VND, ranking 9th in the country.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 29,789 billion, equal to 65.5% of the annual estimate and increasing by 13.6% over the same period. Notably, domestic revenue reached VND19,586 billion, up 29%; revenue from import-export activities reached more than VND10,400 billion.

In addition to the budget revenue results, the province's socio-economic situation continues to maintain stable growth momentum. Gross GRDP product in the first 6 months of the year increased by 7.88%, of which industry - construction increased by more than 8.8%, agriculture - forestry - fishery increased by 3.8%, services increased by more than 9%.

Industry continues to thrive, many key products increase, such as crystallized sugar increases by 134%, sports shoes increase by 41%, steel increases by more than 20%. The industrial production index of the whole province is estimated to increase by 15% over the same period.

Trade, export and service activities flourished, export turnover increased by 20.5%, total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by nearly 14%. Tourism welcomed more than 10 million visitors, total tourism revenue increased by more than 32%.

In the agricultural sector, it is stable, with a total food output of over 884,000 tons; aquatic product output of over 108,000 tons; many more localities meeting advanced, model new rural standards.

In 6 months, the whole province mobilized total social investment capital to reach more than 67,900 billion VND; attracted 61 direct investment projects with a total registered capital of more than 12,900 billion VND and nearly 200 million USD. The number of newly established enterprises reached 1,725, an increase of 12% over the same period, leading the North Central provinces.

Social security continues to be guaranteed, creating new jobs for more than 30,000 workers, completing the construction of more than 10,000 policy houses. Education maintains key quality, the rate of schools meeting national standards accounts for more than 86%.

National defense and security are maintained, security and order are basically stable, traffic accidents have decreased compared to the same period. Administrative reform and digital transformation have been promoted, the province's PCI index ranks 21st in the country.

In the last 6 months of the year, Thanh Hoa aims to strive to comprehensively complete socio-economic targets, maintain the GRDP growth momentum for the whole year at over 11%, continue to support production and business, speed up the disbursement of public investment capital and ensure social security, national defense - security.
