The 2026 military handover and reception ceremony in Ha Tinh will be held from 7:30 am at 3 locations: Can Loc commune stadium, Vu Quang commune stadium and Ky Anh commune square.
Among 1,690 new recruits, there are 1,400 citizens performing military service and 290 citizens performing the duty of People's Police.
Out of a total of 1,400 citizens enlisting in the army, there are 1,180 young people aged 18-21 (accounting for 84.3%); 1,016 citizens with 10th grade or higher cultural qualifications, 180 citizens graduating from universities, colleges, and intermediate schools; 75 party members.
For 290 citizens performing the duty of People's Police, 233 people graduated from high school, 57 people graduated from universities, colleges, and intermediate schools; 11 party members. 100% of new recruits meet political standards, have health type 1 and type 2 according to regulations.
Military recruitment work is deployed synchronously, closely, in accordance with procedures, ensuring publicity, democracy, and fairness; from registration, preliminary selection, medical examination to political and policy review. Thanks to that, the quality of new recruits continues to be improved, even and solid.
This year's new recruits are assigned to units: Naval Command, Coast Guard Command, Border Guard Command and 6 units under Military Region 4 and the Ministry of Public Security.
