From January 1, 2025, civil servants and employees working at the Bac Lieu Provincial Social Protection Center will receive additional monthly support. The level of support depends on the subject.
People who regularly and directly examine, treat, and care for social protection beneficiaries (people who directly care for beneficiaries; medical and nursing staff in job positions associated with care and assistance tasks at social assistance facilities are supported with VND 2,500,000/person/month.
Officials and employees working at the remaining provincial Social Protection Centers are supported with 1,800,000 VND/person/month.
Along with support for employees of the Social Protection Center, officials and workers working at the Bac Lieu Provincial Management Board are also supported with 1,800,000 VND/person/month.
The implementation cost is from the budget guaranteed by the provincial budget, arranged in the annual estimate of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Regarding this level of support, Ms. Le Thanh Giang said that workers in these two areas have faced many difficulties. For a long time, apart from their salary, they have not received any additional allowances and often work in difficult environments. The additional support is a motivation for workers to wholeheartedly devote themselves to their work.
