On November 23, Bac Lieu Employment Service Center coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union and Bac Lieu College of Economics and Technology to organize the Bac Lieu Provincial Job Fair 2024.
Attending the session were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and organizations; 14 companies and enterprises inside and outside the province; nearly 700 students, union members, youth and workers in the province.
At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Xuan Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Lieu province, said that the policy of caring for human resource development and creating jobs for workers, youth, students is a very important issue in the whole society. In recent years, implementing the policies of the Party and the State, Bac Lieu province has always paid attention to leading, directing, issuing many policies and implementing many solutions to promote production and business development, attract human resources, labor resources, create jobs, and develop the labor market.
Since the beginning of the year, the province has trained nearly 15,000 workers, created jobs for nearly 22,000 workers; sent more than 600 workers to work abroad under contracts, achieving and exceeding the set target.
At the Trading Session, companies and businesses organized booths for students, union members, youth and workers to get information about the Company's activities, jobs, requirements, income and benefits for workers when participating in labor; training links and sending workers to work abroad under contracts...
Thereby, helping students, union members, youth and workers to contact, learn about job opportunities, orient themselves about their careers; workers find jobs that suit their needs, strengths, and professions. At the same time, creating conditions for companies and businesses to directly meet, approach labor sources and create opportunities for consulting, selecting, creating quality labor sources, meeting the needs of recruitment and use of the company as well as the orders of domestic and foreign companies and businesses.
The job fair introduces many jobs inside and outside the province; policies and regimes for labor export.
Nguyen Van Quan, Ward 2, Bac Lieu City, said that he already had a job but it was not stable. Through this transaction session, he boldly registered to work in Korea.
Nguyen Thi Quynh, a second-year student at Bac Lieu University, said that it is very difficult to find a job for new graduates. Through this Job Fair, she learned more about the recruitment needs of businesses and from there, she has a plan to apply for a job after graduation.
