On July 12, Ia O Commune Police, Gia Lai province, coordinated with Ia O Border Guard Station and Ia Krái Commune Police to fight and successfully dismantle 1 case, arresting 3 subjects for the act of "Buying, storing and organizing the illegal use of narcotics".
Accordingly, at 2:50 PM on June 8th, Ia O Commune Police in coordination with Ia O Border Guard Station discovered 2 subjects including: Luong Huu Vy (born 1996, residing in Nam Hong village, Hung Khanh commune, Lao Cai province) and Le Bao Ngoc (born 2004, residing in Tan Sao village, Ia Hrung commune, Gia Lai province) showing signs of suspected illegal possession of drugs.
Conducting an inspection, the Task Force discovered on Luong Huu Vy's person 1 nylon package containing white crystal particles.
Continuing to check the subject's residence in Lan village commune, Ia O commune, they discovered 1 more nylon package containing white crystalline granules (Vy and Ngoc confessed to 2 nylon packages containing methamphetamine) and 1 set of methamphetamine use tools.
Continuing the struggle, Vy and Ngoc confessed that the above drugs were bought from a person named Cong (unknown origin) in area B14 of Ia Krai commune.
The commune police quickly deployed forces to verify. At about 9:30 am on July 9, 2026, Ia O Commune Police coordinated with Ia Krai Commune Police to catch Le Dinh Cong (born in 1996, residing in Ia Cham village, Ia Krai commune) red-handed when the subject was at a farmhouse in Ia Cham village, Ia Krai commune.
Here, the Task Force seized 7 transparent plastic pipes, sealed at both ends, inside containing a solid crystalline substance (Publicly admitted to being methamphetamine).
Through rapid testing, the police agency determined that Vi and Ngoc were both positive for methamphetamine.
At the police station, Vy, Ngoc and Cong confessed to all criminal acts.
Currently, Ia O Commune Police are continuing to complete procedures to prosecute the case, and at the same time expand the investigation to clarify other subjects related to the case.
