On January 2nd, Phu Trach Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just caught 2 subjects red-handed illegally possessing drugs.
Previously, during a patrol on the road connecting Hon La Port - National Highway 1A, passing through Tho Son village, Phu Trach commune, the task force discovered 2 subjects driving a motorbike with license plate 73C1-075xx showing suspicious signs, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.
Through inspection, the police force identified 2 subjects as D.A.T (born 1989, residing in Uyen Phong village, Tuyen Hoa commune) and T.H.H (born 1999, residing in Vinh Son village, Phu Trach commune). At the scene, the task force discovered a nylon bag containing 9 pink pills, hidden under the saddle of the car. The subjects confessed that the exhibits were pink pills, bought for use.
Phu Trach Commune Police made a record of catching the perpetrator red-handed, temporarily detaining, sealing the exhibits and taking the subjects to the headquarters to work according to regulations. The case was then completed with the initial file, transferred to the Provincial Police Investigation Agency for further handling according to its authority.
