On September 3, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Trung - Commander of My Quy Tay Border Gate Border Guard Station (Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command) said that he had discovered and arrested Le Phuong Tam, who was wanted by Dong Nai City Police, when completing entry and exit procedures to Cambodia.
Previously, at 5:00 PM on September 2nd, at the My Quy Tay Border Gate Border Guard Station, the entry and exit inspection team discovered passenger Le Phuong Tam (born 1984, residing in Trang Bom, Dong Nai City) who was prohibited from leaving the country.
Through inspection, functional forces identified Tam as a wanted subject under Arrest Warrant No. 10377/QDTN-VPCQCSDT of Dong Nai City Police.

Tam was prosecuted for the crime of fraud and appropriation of property, as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 174 of the Penal Code. The incident was determined to have occurred on September 30, 2022. According to the arrest warrant, Tam had fled and his place of residence before fleeing was identified in Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai city.
After discovering it, the task force arrested Tam and took him to the Border Guard Station for work and handling. The unit proceeded to collect information and documents related to the subject and notified the Office of the Investigation Police Agency (PC01) of Dong Nai City Police, which is the unit that issued the arrest warrant.
At the same time, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station notified the People's Procuracy of Region 2, Tay Ninh province, Trang Bom Commune People's Committee, Dong Nai city and Tam's family.
After that, the unit proceeded to hand over the subject to the Investigation Police Agency (PC01) of Dong Nai City Police to carry out handover procedures according to legal regulations.
