On June 4, according to information from Hung Yen Provincial Police, Vu Phuc Ward Police discovered and arrested a subject for the act of illegally possessing drugs.
During the investigation and expansion of the case, functional forces continued to clarify and arrested 3 more subjects related to the act of illegally trading drugs.
Previously, at about 7:30 pm on May 30, during patrol and control in the Phuc Thuong residential group area, Vu Phuc ward, the Task Force of Vu Phuc Ward Police caught Duong Thi Tam (born in 2005, residing in Tuan Nghia village, Nam Thai Ninh commune, Hung Yen province) red-handed storing a nylon bag containing white crystalline substance.
At the police station, Tam confessed that it was synthetic drug Ketamine hidden for use. The rapid test results determined that Duong Thi Tam tested positive for Ketamine. The forensic conclusion showed that the seized drugs were Ketamine preparations, with a weight of 1.2594g.
Expanding the investigation of the case, Duong Thi Tam confessed to buying the above drugs from Nguyen Truong Giang (born in 2005, residing in Dien village, Le Quy Don commune, Hung Yen province). In addition, before that, Tam also bought drugs from Vu Quyet Tien (born in 2006, residing in Tran Lam ward, Hung Yen province).
On June 2, Vu Phuc Ward Police summoned Nguyen Truong Giang and Vu Quyet Tien to work. During the verification process, Nguyen Truong Giang voluntarily handed over 2.7032g of Ketamine; Vu Quyet Tien voluntarily handed over 1.6123g of Ketamine and confessed to having sold drugs to Duong Thi Tam.
Continuing the investigation, Vu Quyet Tien confessed to buying the above drugs from Bui Thi Kim Thoa (born in 1999, residing in Hai Nhuan village, Dong Tien Hai commune, Hung Yen province). Vu Phuc Ward Police summoned Bui Thi Kim Thoa to work. At the police station, Thoa confessed to selling the above drugs to Vu Quyet Tien.
Based on the documents and evidence collected, on June 2, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police issued an emergency search warrant and an emergency arrest warrant for Nguyen Truong Giang, Vu Quyet Tien and Bui Thi Kim Thoa to investigate the act of illegal drug trading.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
