On August 27, according to information from the Dong Thap Provincial Police website, Trung An Ward Police arrested a robbery suspect who occurred in My Tinh An Commune on August 23, 2025.
Previously, through patrolling and controlling crime in the area, the Trung An Ward Police force discovered a subject with identifying characteristics similar to the subject who caused the robbery on August 23, 2025 in My Tinh An Commune (Dong Thap Province), so they immediately approached and controlled the subject to invite him to the Ward Police for questioning.
At the police station, the subject gave his name as Bui Van Gioi (30 years old, residing in Tay Ninh province). Subject Gioi confessed to driving a motorbike directly to commit the robbery on August 23, 2025. The stolen property was sold for personal expenses.
