HCMC - Regarding the appearance of the dam on the side of Rung Sac Road (Can Gio), the Can Gio Protective Forest Management Board said that this is dam on the farm.

In recent days, social networks have spread many clips recording the scene of a crab appearing along Rung Sac Street, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City. This has surprised and delighted many people and tourists. However, there are also concerns about the safety of the tents as well as traffic participants.

In response to this information, on the afternoon of March 24, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Can Gio Protective Forest Management Board said that these are cranes released naturally by the farming unit in the forest area. The purpose of this is to serve environmental education and create attractions for tourists.

According to the representative of the Forest Management Board, this herd of cranes has been released naturally in the area of about 50 hectares of the Dan Xay eco-tourism site for more than 5 years. They often go out to the edge of the Sac Forest road in the evening to eat grass.

"Up to now, Nai has not harmed anyone and no one has harmed her. At the same time, there has never been an accident involving these two cranes, the representative informed and said that he had registered with the authorities about raising cranes.

To ensure the safety of forest animals and road users, the Forest Management Board has coordinated with local authorities to promote wildlife protection and install warning signs for wildlife crossing the road in this area.

"Some people don't cross the road often but only eat fermented grass on the road. When they see someone filming and taking photos, they will run into the forest," said a representative of the Forest Management Board.

In the coming time, the Can Gio Protective Forest Management Board will continue to monitor, supervise the herd of cranes and coordinate with relevant units to protect them.
