According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, at 9:30 am on April 16, 2026, in the area of group 4, Tra Ly ward, Hung Yen province, during patrol and control, the working group of Tra Ly Ward Police discovered a suspect with suspicious signs, so they requested an administrative inspection according to legal regulations.
Through inspection, the subject confessed to being Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1974, residing in Hung Thang TDP, Tien Hai commune, Hung Yen province). The task force discovered and seized 1 paper package containing a suspected drug. The results of the examination determined that the seized exhibits were drugs, heroin type, with a weight of 0.1421g.
Tra Ly Ward Police made a record of catching Nguyen Van Thanh red-handed for the act of illegally possessing drugs; and at the same time made a record of sealing and seizing exhibits according to regulations. The Provincial Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Van Thanh for further investigation and clarification.
