On the evening of September 5, Da Teh Commune Police (Lam Dong Province) said that the unit had just ambushed and caught a group of subjects organizing illegal use of drugs in the area.
Previously, in the early morning of August 31, at the gate guard of the Da Ham irrigation lake (Village 2, Da Teh commune), the police discovered a group of subjects with many suspicious signs, so they ambushed and followed them.
At around 2:30 a.m. the same day, when the subjects were in a state of "reporting" drugs, they were caught red-handed by detectives from Da Teh Commune Police. At the scene, 6 subjects were organizing illegal use of drugs. The police agency also seized a set of tools used for drug use.
Da Teh commune police conducted a quick test and all 6 subjects tested positive for Methamphetamine. At the same time, the authorities made a record of the arrest of the offenders in the act against the subjects.
During the struggle, the subjects confessed that in order to organize drug use, 2 out of the 6 subjects mentioned above went to the house of L.X.H (29 years old, living in Village 7, Da Teh Commune) to buy crystal meth for 500,000 VND. After that, the subjects made an appointment to go to Da Ham Lake to organize the use.
From the statements of the subjects, Da Teh Commune Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police to conduct an emergency search of L.X.H's residence and discovered a nylon package containing a suspected drug substance.
Currently, the case has been handed over by Da Teh Commune Police to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police for further investigation and strict handling according to the law.
