On June 4, according to information from Vinh Long Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police has executed the decision to resume the investigation of the accused, and at the same time issued an order to temporarily detain Ngo Hung Hai (32 years old) to investigate the act of property theft.
According to the case file, at about 11:30 am on June 17, 2025, Hai and 3 other subjects discussed and organized to come to Thanh Trung Primary School, in Thanh Thuan hamlet, My Thuan commune, Vinh Long province to commit property theft.
Here, the group of subjects broke into the school grounds, stealing 1 65-inch LG TV, 1 electronic keyboard and 1 FPT Elead computer set. After committing the crime, the whole group took the property to Hai's house to hide to avoid being discovered.
The valuation results determined that the total value of stolen property was about 11.71 million VND. Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Long Provincial Police is continuing to expand the investigation and consolidate the file to handle related subjects according to legal regulations.
