Quang Tri - Phu Trach Police remind people about interacting, commenting and sharing fake information on social networks.

On June 16, Phu Trach Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just discovered and reminded a citizen of violations when monitoring and commenting on fake information on Facebook.

Through grasping the situation in cyberspace, Phu Trach Commune Police discovered that the Facebook account "L.D" used by Mr. D. V. T (born in 1981, residing in Xuan Hai village, Phu Trach commune) regularly accessed and interacted with fabricated, distorted, and sabotaged information from reactionary exile subjects and pages and groups with malicious and toxic content.

Working with the police agency, Mr. D. V. T admitted the act, proactively removed the comment, and committed to strictly complying with the regulations on using social networks. The commune police have reminded, educated, and deterred; and at the same time advised people to raise awareness, not to post or share unverified, untrue information.

In the coming time, the police force will continue to propagate and guide people to use social networks safely and civilly and promptly handle acts of taking advantage of cyberspace, affecting security, order and social life.
