At about 8:45 p.m. on July 2, through patrolling, controlling and ensuring security and order in the area, Hai Van Ward Police (Da Nang City) and local security forces discovered a group of 6 young men (all residing in Da Nang) who had previously gone to play and set up a tent in an empty lot near Thac Co (Gian Bi Village, Hai Van Ward - old Hoa Bac Commune) and were suddenly isolated by stream water. Because the above land is near the dam and in the lake, they cannot get to shore, while the water level is getting higher and higher.
As soon as the incident was discovered, Hai Van Ward Police coordinated with the local security force to quickly deploy rescue work. After nearly 1 hour of actively implementing measures, the group of young men were finally brought to shore safely, luckily escaping danger as the water level increased.
Through this incident, Hai Van Ward Police would like to advise people and tourists not to go out for a night in the forest, especially during the rainy season.
At night, there are many potential risks such as slippery, fierce animals, and especially sudden heavy water from upstream that can cause flash floods, sweeping away people and vehicles. At the same time, absolutely do not camp or walk along streams, streams, or waterfalls at night.
