In the first 6 months of 2026, the Police Force for Administrative Management of Social Order (QLHC on TTXH) has proactively and synchronously implemented many solutions, successfully completing key targets and tasks for 2026.
Notably, the work of managing residence, managing conditional investment and business lines on security and order (ANTT) continues to have many positive changes; the implementation of Project 06 of the Government is carried out drastically, synchronously, and effectively. Population data cleaning work continues to be widely deployed, ensuring the criteria "correct, sufficient, clean, living", effectively serving the construction of digital government, digital society and digital citizens. To date, the unit has completed 5 targets reaching 100%, including: reviewing more than 81,000 cases of citizens who registered birth but have not registered permanent residence; reviewing more than 16,500 cases participating in social insurance in industrial parks; supplementing personal identification numbers for nearly 19,000 cases granted diplomas and certificates; cleaning more than 90,000 land data and updating residence history for more than 49,000 students to serve priority consideration in the high school graduation exam.
Through propaganda and mobilization, the Police force recovered 60 guns of all kinds, 748 bullets, 22 support tools, 414 rudimentary weapons and many weapon assembly components. At the same time, the whole province discovered 24 cases, 116 subjects violating regulations related to weapons, explosives, and support tools; 11 cases, 55 subjects have been prosecuted, and many cases of violations have been strictly handled according to legal regulations. Regarding violations related to firecrackers, functional forces discovered 5 cases, 9 subjects, seized 51kg of firecrackers and many related exhibits, contributing to effectively curbing violations and ensuring social order and safety in the area.
The Provincial Order Police force has also strengthened patrol and control work, organized more than 19,800 patrols with over 84,600 turns of officers and soldiers participating; detected more than 14,400 violations, made records and handled nearly 1,200 cases. Timely detected and handled many arising cases, dispersed dozens of groups of young people gathering late at night causing social disorder.
Concluding the inspection of the results of the Public Security work in the first 6 months of 2026 (on the afternoon of May 25) for the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Major General Nguyen Van Han requested the force to focus on completing the remaining targets, especially tasks related to Project 06 and digital transformation. Promote propaganda and mobilize people and businesses to register electronic identification accounts.
For the Regional Police and Order Police forces, continue to consolidate and arrange forces in accordance with practical requirements; improve the effectiveness of patrol and control work, receiving and processing reports; proactively grasp the area, strictly manage subjects, and prevent complicated situations regarding security and order. At the same time, continue to effectively implement key plans and projects of the Provincial Police on building safe and civilized areas, especially the Project to build Phu Quoc special zone into a "Model unit for security and order and urban civilization", contributing to effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.
