Attending the event, Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, expressed: "Ho Chi Minh City is not only the largest economic center in Vietnam but also the origin of many innovative initiatives.
We believe that with more than 10 years of AI research and development, along with the solid technological capabilities of the C.OpenAI Ecosystem, CMC will be a strategic partner to help Ho Chi Minh City realize its ambition of becoming a global AI city."
Ho Chi Minh City is aiming to become an "AI City" by 2030, led by the C4IR Center, launched in September 2024. This center is the 19th center in the WEF network, located in Thu Duc City High-Tech Park, operating under a public-private partnership model.
CMC, as one of the founding units, participates in many strategic tasks at C4IR such as: Building a project to apply AI in city management, initially for healthcare and education; Establishing an AI Center of Excellence; training 500 high-quality engineers in the fields of AI and semiconductors...
