On November 29, Binh Hoa Commune Police (An Giang) said that they had just detained Tran Minh Tan (born in 2007, residing in Nui Cam Commune, An Giang Province) to investigate the act of property theft.
Previously, through the management of the area, Binh Hoa Commune Police discovered that Tran Minh Tan had signs of suspected property theft, so they invited him to the headquarters for questioning. At the police station, Tan confessed to committing 3 thefts in Tri Ton, Can Dang and Vinh Hanh communes.
On November 20, 2025, Tan went to a motel in Tri Ton commune to steal a motorbike. On November 25, 2025, Tan and two subjects of unknown origin continued to steal a motorbike in the area behind the commercial area of Can Dang commune and then sold it. At around 1:00 a.m. on November 26, 2025, Tan continued to steal an electric motorbike in Vinh Hanh commune. On the way to hide the property, the police discovered the suspect and took him to the commune police headquarters for questioning.
The police force has recovered 1 motorbike and 1 electric motorbike as evidence in the thefts committed by Tan and temporarily detained the subject for investigation, clarification and handling according to the provisions of law.
