Can Tho - Can Tho Police continuously destroyed 2 gambling dens in An Ninh Commune and My Xuyen Ward, seizing many exhibits and cash.

On August 18, information from An Ninh Commune Police (Can Tho City), on August 15, received a report from the public about many people gathering to gamble at the house of Ms. Tran Thi T.K (born in 1978).

At around 1:00 p.m. the same day, the police force conducted an inspection and caught 7 subjects red-handed gambling illegally in the form of playing with 6 cards of Indian players for money. The seized exhibits included 7 sets of used 52-page cards, worth more than VND 9.8 million and 3 motorbikes. Working with the authorities, the subjects admitted to the violation.

Similarly, at 3:30 p.m. on August 16, My Xuyen Ward Police discovered and destroyed a gambling den for money in Tam Loc Hamlet.

At the scene, the authorities caught 9 subjects red-handed while playing cards. Through inspection, the police seized 50,000 VND, 2 blue rubber sheets, 5 sets of unused cards, and 20 used cards from the silver screen. In addition, on the subjects, the ward police force temporarily detained a total of more than 8.7 million VND.

The case is currently being consolidated by the authorities and handled according to the law.
