On August 2nd, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that Tien Thanh Ward Police quickly supported a foreign athlete to find 2 lost phones during his participation in Sports Festival 2026.
Previously, on the evening of August 1st, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province coordinated with the Vietnam People's Police Sports Association and units to organize the opening of Sports Festival 2026 in Tien Thanh ward.
Before the opening ceremony, Mr. P.L (Hungarian nationality), an athlete participating in Golf, discovered that he had lost 2 mobile phones. He returned to the restaurant where he had eaten to search but without results.
Immediately after receiving the information, Tien Thanh Ward Police quickly supported the search. A moment later, 2 phones were found because the athlete forgot them on the car arranged by the Organizing Committee for pick-up and drop-off.
Finding the property, the Hungarian athlete expressed his joy and thanked the police force for quickly supporting the search for the property.
According to Lam Dong Provincial Police, timely support for athletes not only helps protect the property of event participants but also demonstrates the spirit of responsibility and dedication of grassroots police forces. Thereby, contributing to creating a good, friendly and safe impression for friends and athletes at home and abroad when coming to Lam Dong to attend sports and tourism events.
