On February 9, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that they are directing the Immigration Management Department to coordinate with relevant agencies, departments and localities to deploy a peak period of reviewing and handling foreigners who have exceeded their temporary residence limit in the province.
Accordingly, the Immigration Management Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police has established working groups in three areas including the provincial center, East and West.
Task forces will directly inspect the compliance with legal regulations on entry, residence and stay of foreigners throughout the province.
The peak period is implemented for 20 days, focusing on detecting and handling cases of exceeding the temporary residence limit, residing for improper purposes or violating regulations on residence declaration.
Tightening residence management is an important solution to proactively prevent early and remotely complex security and order risks.
