Seriously implementing the policy of reducing and simplifying administrative procedures according to the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, on the afternoon of January 19, the Provincial Police held a meeting to propose a plan to reduce administrative procedures and internal administrative procedures throughout the force.
At the meeting, delegates focused on reviewing and comprehensively assessing the process, dossier components and time to resolve administrative procedures being implemented, especially procedures directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of people and businesses. Through discussions, many opinions frankly pointed out inadequacies, overlaps, and arising intermediary procedures that are not really necessary, causing prolonged resolution time for organizations and individuals.
On that basis, the units have proposed plans to reduce the composition of dossiers, shorten the processing time, standardize the processing process, and at the same time eliminate procedures that are no longer suitable for reality, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and administrative reform requirements in the new situation. Solutions are proposed in the direction of simplicity, transparency, easy access, contributing to reducing inconvenience, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses when carrying out administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of the Police force.

Concluding the meeting, Colonel Diep Van The, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized: cutting and simplifying administrative procedures is not only an urgent requirement in the administrative reform process but also a measure of the effectiveness of serving the People of the Police force. Colonel Diep Van The requested professional departments to continue to proactively review and propose specific solutions, ensuring feasibility, synchronization and efficiency, associated with the application of information technology and digital transformation, as a basis for the Provincial Police to summarize, report, and advise competent authorities for consideration and decision in the coming time.
