On January 16, An Giang Provincial Police held a meeting to pilot Kiosk serving public administration in the Provincial Police force.
The Kiosk model serving public administration aims to promote digital transformation, modernize the work of receiving and resolving administrative procedures and promote non-cash payments, helping people save time and costs. Kiosks are integrated with many utilities such as searching administrative procedures, registering services, getting serial numbers, scheduling appointments, submitting applications online via VNeID electronic identification account, paying fees and charges, and printing receipts after completing procedures.
The pilot project is being implemented at the receiving and result return department of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Rach Gia Ward Police, Long Xuyen and Phu Quoc Special Zone Police.

Speaking at the deployment ceremony, Colonel Diep Van The - Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police - emphasized that the pilot of the Kiosk model serving public administration is an important step in administrative procedure reform, contributing to bringing public services closer to people, especially those who still face difficulties in accessing digital technology, ensuring the motto "do not leave anyone behind" in the digital transformation process.

Currently, the public administrative kiosk at Rach Gia Ward Police operates stably and is positively assessed by the people. After 2 months of piloting, An Giang Provincial Police will evaluate the results to consider replicating the model in the near future.
