Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Lu Minh Phuong - Deputy Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police called on all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police to proactively, enthusiastically, and actively participate in planting trees and forests.
In which, pay attention from choosing tree species, organizing planting and tree care methods, contributing to preserving a healthy environment and climate, creating a green and clean landscape for living and working.
Colonel Lu Minh Phuong also requested that the police of units and localities need to proactively and regularly organize activities to plant, care for and protect green trees, especially units with independent headquarters.
Along with that, strengthen measures to fight and strictly handle violations of environmental laws, deforestation, proactively take measures to respond to climate change, prevent and combat natural disasters and forest fire prevention and fighting measures.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders of Dien Bien Provincial Police and all youth union members participated in planting trees in the Truc An Resort grounds, Muong Phang commune.
