In recent times, illegal advertising has been regularly deleted, however, the situation of posting dirty advertisements is still recurring in more sophisticated forms, mainly small leaflets containing loan sharking content, pinning the bridge with signs of fraud.
Faced with this situation, the City Police have launched the activity "Youth of Uncle Ho City is taking a shock to build civilization and urban beauty". At the same time, it directed forces in 273 communes, wards and towns to strictly handle violations. In addition to administrative fines, the subjects must directly remove illegal advertisements and restore the urban beauty to its original state.

Most recently, the City Police investigated and arrested two subjects Hoang Van Son and Nguyen Tien Duy (both residing in Thanh Oai, Hanoi) who went to Ho Chi Minh City to lend black credit. The above group of subjects used Facebook advertisements and leaflets to reach out to workers and students facing financial difficulties and lending at high interest rates.
In order to continue promoting the achieved results, moving towards eliminating illegal advertising, preserving urban beauty and preventing crimes, especially black credit, and at the same time making achievements to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), Ho Chi Minh City Police continue to promote propaganda and organize the removal of illegal advertising throughout the area.
Nearly 10,000 students and union members participated in removing dirty advertisements on central roads, and all communes, wards and towns in Ho Chi Minh City also took action simultaneously. After cleaning, the roads were handed over to local authorities for management, not allowing violations to recur.

In the past 2 years, more than 50,000 people have participated, more than 2 million dirty advertising products have been removed, and over 100 violations have been punished. From 1,077 phone numbers advertising financial loans, the City Police have investigated and handled 782 subjects related to "black credit" activities, ending the situation of collecting debts for terrorism and illegal drug trafficking.

At the same time, the walls after cleaning are given a new look with hundreds of murals "Beautiful Vietnam", jointly painted by the police force, union members, students, artists and people, contributing to beautifying the urban space and promoting tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.
