On March 29, the Traffic Police Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police said that during the night of the campaign to inspect alcohol concentration in the whole province, the force discovered and recorded 121 violations.
Of which, there were 72 cases of alcohol concentration violations (31 cases with a concentration of 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath or more); 1 case positive for drugs; and other errors.
According to the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, although the traffic order and safety situation in the area has been quite stable in recent times, the force has still patrolled and controlled to ensure and continue to prevent complicated developments, especially during the peak period on April 30.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police force of the whole province will take turns launching a general inspection and handling specialized groups of violations that are the main causes of road traffic accidents such as: violations of alcohol and drug concentrations; violations of vehicle enclosure, carrying goods overloaded, oversized, transporting goods without tying in accordance with regulations; speeding, not obeying traffic light signals (crossing red lights) ...
At the same time, the work of inspection and handling of violations will be implemented throughout 2025, to continue raising awareness and sense of compliance with the law of traffic participants.
