On September 25, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command held a conference to summarize the implementation of Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating standards on logistics for soldiers in active service, workers and defense officials.
The report at the Conference affirmed that in recent times, the Party Committee and the Head of the Regional Command have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the contents of Decree 76 associated with the Emulation movement for the Victory and emulation movements of the Military Logistics sector. The work of ensuring logistics is organized synchronously, comprehensively and promptly, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers, ensuring that the unit completes all tasks well.
Units have strictly maintained the management regime, using logistics standards; proactively increased production, livestock farming, improved military meals; ensured a source of green vegetables and fresh food, especially on ships performing missions at sea. Military medicine work is focused on, 100% of soldiers are given periodic health check-ups, health records are well managed, and vaccinations are fully guaranteed; the basic military medicine system meets the requirements of the task. Logistics facilities are being invested in, repaired, upgraded, and ensured the living and working conditions of the army.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Ha - Deputy Head of Logistics - Engineering, Vietnam Coast Guard praised and acknowledged the achievements of the Logistics sector of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in the past time. At the same time, he requested that agencies and units in the Regional Command continue to improve the effectiveness of logistics assurance; strictly manage and effectively use resources.
Combining regular logistics with combat readiness logistics well; taking care of the lives and health of soldiers, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, exemplary Coast Guard Region 4, successfully completing all assigned tasks.
