On the evening of November 8, the electric meter of a household mounted on a power pole in Nhan Quang village (Nam Trach commune, Quang Tri province) suddenly caught fire, causing many people to panic.
According to the People's Committee of Nam Trach commune, the incident occurred at around 5:45 p.m. the same day. The fire suddenly broke out from the electric meter area mounted on the pole, with smoke rising high and emitting many rays of fire.
After receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived to put out the fire. At around 6pm, the fire was completely controlled, causing no damage to people or property around.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated and clarified by the electricity industry in coordination with the authorities.
