On May 26, the final round of the Vietnam Speciality Coffee Competition 2025 - Vietnam Amazing Cup 2025 is taking place in Buon Ma Thuot.
After 4 days of evaluation in the preliminary round (from April 20 to 23), the organizing committee of the contest recorded 139/149 samples participating in the contest meeting the specialty score standards.
This figure is equivalent to 93.3%, the highest in the history of organized Vietnamese specialty coffee exams.
Of the 146 coffee models that met specialty standards, the Organizing Committee selected 43 coffee models with the highest scores. This includes 24 Robusta coffee samples and 19 Arabica coffee samples.
These coffee models are to continue to enter the final round of the Top 10 Robusta and Arabica competition on April 25 and 26.
The Vietnam Special Coffee Competition - Vietnam Amazing Cup is a prestigious annual event organized by the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association to search, evaluate and promote coffee models with outstanding quality, meeting international standards for specialty coffee.
Chairman of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association Trinh Duc Minh emphasized: "The results of the final round of the Vietnam Speciality Coffee Competition 2025 are expected to contribute significantly to positioning and raising the value of Vietnamese specialty coffee. At the same time, we encourage manufacturers to continue to invest in quality for sustainable development".
The announcement and award ceremony of the Vietnam Speciality Coffee Competition 2025 will take place on the afternoon of April 27 in Buon Ma Thuot city.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that 146 product samples participated in the preliminary round of the Vietnam Special Coffee Competition 2025.
For 4 days (from April 20 to 23), the contestants will be scored according to a strict assessment process, international standards by prestigious domestic and international judges.
