146 product samples participating in the preliminary round of the Vietnam Specialties Coffee Competition 2025

Dak Lak - There are 146 coffee samples that will be scored according to a strict assessment process, international standards in the qualifying round of the Vietnam Special Coffee Competition 2025.

On April 20, in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province), the opening ceremony of the qualifying round of the Vietnam Speciality Coffee 2025 - Vietnam Amazing Cup 2025 competition took place. The event was organized by Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association.

Participating in the preliminary round are 146 participating samples (97 Robusta samples and 49 Arabica samples) from famous coffee ingredient regions in Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Quang Tri...

These are coffee models that have been carefully selected, demonstrating the serious efforts of growers, processors and participating units across the country.

For 4 days (from April 20 to 23), the contestants will be scored according to a strict assessment process, international standards by prestigious domestic and international judges.

Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association Trinh Duc Minh emphasized: "The event aims to select the best coffee models, qualified to continue to the final round, which will take place on April 24 and 25."

According to Mr. Minh, all processes from sample encryption, physical assessment, roasting, testing, data recording to results processing are carried out seriously and in accordance with international standards.

Thereby, ensuring fairness for all participating units and contributing to affirming the prestige and increasingly high quality of the Vietnamese coffee industry".

The ceremony to announce and award the top 10 best coffee models will take place on the afternoon of April 27. At the same time, the organizing committee will organize a community trial of coffee samples that meet Vietnamese specialty coffee standards in 2025. Thereby, selecting the most favorite coffee models to award.
