Voters said that the Residential Area No. 5 project on Nguyen Huu Tho Street with a drainage ditch and escape road system along the Southeast wall of Da Nang Airport has not been implemented yet.
Previously, a meeting was held to discuss the implementation of the Project and request an investment policy, but it has not been implemented yet. People requested Da Nang City to consider implementation so as not to interrupt people's activities.
Responding to the proposal on the comments portal, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said that the Department of Construction has reported to the City People's Committee in the content of Official Dispatch No. 1556/SXD-QHKT&PTDT.
Accordingly, the Department of Construction has reported on the project implementation process and policies of the City People's Committee on related issues and assigned the unit to implement:
The approval and appraisal of the project to adjust the planning of Phuoc Ly 5 Resettlement Area is under the authority of Cam Le District People's Committee (now An Khe Ward People's Committee).
The investor implementing the project is the Infrastructure Investment and Urban Development Project Management Board (now the Project Management Board for Civil, Industrial and Technical Cooperation Works), the unit proposing the investment policy is the People's Committee of Cam Le District (old).
On that basis, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Official Letter No. 1365/UBND-SXD, assigning the People's Committee of Cam Le District (old) to preside over and coordinate with the Project Management Board to inspect, clearly determine the time and progress of the project and notify voters with any recommendations.
Therefore, the delay in project implementation is the responsibility of the locality, and the People's Committee of An Khe Ward is requested to review and respond to voters' recommendations.
Regarding the issue of drainage during the project implementation period, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City requested the People's Committee of An Khe Ward to urgently implement a temporary plan (paving canals to guide the flow) to minimize the impact on people in the upcoming rainy season.
