According to the plan, the series of activities takes place from April 29 to May 3, in which the highlight is the Gala night "Peaceful Fatherland" on the evening of May 2, with contents such as cultural parades, art performances, torch relays and fireworks displays.
The event aims to celebrate the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces.
Implementing the direction of Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Da Nang City Police has developed and synchronously deployed plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting at the locations where the event takes place.
From actual surveys, building traffic diversion plans to arranging on-duty forces... are all deployed methodically, ready to handle any arising situations.
In Hai Chau ward, where many activities of the program take place, the Ward Police have strengthened patrols and inspections, sticking to the area, not allowing passivity or surprise to occur.
In the Han River East bank park area (Rong bridge head, An Hai ward), the main stage serving the Gala night is being urgently completed.
Local police forces will closely coordinate with the construction unit, both grasping the situation and reminding and requiring strict compliance with labor safety regulations, proactively preventing fires and explosions early.
