On August 19, the Working Group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police promptly controlled cars running through many streets, discovering two young men in the car who tested positive for drugs.
At around 15,80, while patrolling and controlling on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, the traffic police discovered a car with license plate 43E-0 18.XX with suspicious signs. When asked to stop the vehicle, the driver did not comply but accelerated and ran away, endangering road users.
The working group immediately deployed professional measures and chased through many streets. At the intersection of Le Duan - Dien Bien Phu, the authorities controlled, forced the vehicles to stop and brought the subjects to the headquarters for questioning.
Through inspection, there were drug use tools on the vehicle. The driver was identified as V.T. (born in 1999, residing in Thanh Khe ward, Da Nang), carrying T.C.C. (born in 2001, residing on Ha Huy Tap Street, Thanh Khe Ward). Rapid test results showed that both tested positive for drugs.
The police have drawn up a record to punish the act of "driving a vehicle on the road with drugs in the body", temporarily detained the vehicle and handed over the person and the evidence to Thanh Khe Ward Police for further investigation and handling.
