Hue University plants thousands of green trees to protect the environment

HUE - Hue University launches the Binh Ngo Spring Tree Planting Festival 2026, planting 2,000 acacia trees, contributing to environmental protection.

On the morning of March 5, Hue University organized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting, forever remembering Uncle Ho" at the urban planning area of Hue University.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of Hue University, leaders of member units, along with 500 students and officials and employees of Hue University.

The tree planting activity is an opportunity to implement President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, and also an annual activity of Hue University to raise awareness of environmental and community protection.

This year, Hue University planted 2,000 acacia trees in the inter-school area and the Operation Center of the Hue University urban planning area, an area previously polluted by waste.

After the launching ceremony, leaders, officials and students participated in planting trees, contributing to improving the landscape and urban appearance of Hue City.
