Dak Lak - The province is striving to start 1-2 projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Office has just announced the Conclusion of Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the thematic meeting on basic construction in April.

Accordingly, the disbursement rate in the first 4 months of the year of Dak Lak province is quite good but not enough to plan, with 8.9% of capital in 2024 and 91.6% of capital in 2025 allocated. Some major investors such as the Traffic Construction Investment Management Board have not met the requirements.

The Provincial People's Committee recommends that departments, branches, sectors and localities continue to implement tasks, especially in the context of transitioning the organization of the government apparatus.

The province requires drastic implementation of targets to ensure economic growth of over 8% and budget revenue increase of over 10% in 2025.

The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee also requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to promptly complete investment procedures to submit for approval, as a basis for assigning capital plans.

Relevant units need to develop compensation and site clearance plans and prioritize capital allocation for this work.

Closely coordinate to hand over the site to the contractor on schedule.

At the same time, speed up the disbursement and recovery of advance capital.

Review and plan works and projects that are eligible to register for construction and inauguration to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

Submit to the Department of Finance in May to synthesize, report, and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to focus maximum resources on implementing investment procedures to start construction of assigned projects.

Ensure that the whole province has at least 2 projects and works that are eligible for construction or inauguration in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.

On May 5, the Prime Minister issued a telegram on preparations to organize the groundbreaking ceremony, inaugurate large-scale projects and works and prepare to organize an exhibition of socio-economic achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The dispatch stated: The Government plans to continue to organize the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration ceremony online at the same time for major projects and works across the country (directly combining online with all works and projects). The expected time is August 19, 2025.

To ensure careful, quality preparation and success for this important event, the Prime Minister requested:

Strive for each ministry, branch, locality, Group, and Corporation to have at least 2 projects and works eligible for groundbreaking or inauguration to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
