During the project implementation, the Ministry of Construction has sent many documents to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requesting support to speed up the site clearance progress, completing the handover of the entire site to the project before May 15, 2025.
In the past, the locality has resolved some shortcomings and problems such as: The relocation of the T20 power pole at Km32+600 has been completed, and the entire site section through Buon Ma Thuot city has been handed over.
However, there are still 113m sections through Cu M'gar district and locally existing at some drainage ditches through Krong Pac and Cu Kuin districts that have not been completely resolved.
In order to ensure the completion of the project before June 30, 2025, the Ministry of Construction asked the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province to continue to pay attention to directing the relevant units of the province to accelerate the site clearance, complete the handover of the entire ground to the project before 30.5.2025.
In particular, focus on implementing a number of contents such as directing the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district to promptly organize the approval of compensation and support plans when the State reclaims land to have a basis for paying people.
Hand over the construction site for 113m of the main route and the area of 2 floodgates (the floodgate on National Highway 14 and the floodgate at Km1+700).
Direct the People's Committee of Krong Pac district to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and take measures to organize and protect the construction of the remaining 2 households to have a construction site to complete the No. 2 canals at Km13+203.
Direct the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district to promptly organize payment to the people and hand over the construction site for the area of canals No. 5 at Km15+511.
In case the site clearance work of the project continues to be delayed and does not meet the requirements for project completion, the Ministry of Construction recommends that the leaders of Dak Lak province consider handling the responsibilities of related groups and individuals.
By May 30, 2025, if there are still any problems with the site, the Ministry of Construction will consider zoning the project to hand over to the locality for management and completion of investment after the locality has arranged funding sources.
The Ho Chi Minh Road project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province) has a total initial investment of more than 1,500 billion VND from the central budget, with a length of more than 39km.
After that, the project increased its capital to more than VND 1,841 billion due to land clearance problems.
