On the morning of December 12, Dak Lak Provincial Police held a launching ceremony to carry out a peak period of attack, suppress crime, ensure security and order to serve the 14th National Congress of the Party; the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly, the election of deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term and the 2026 Lunar New Year 2026.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, and representatives of departments, branches of the province and the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Dao My - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said: "According to the law, before, during and after major events, especially the National Party Congress, elections and the Lunar New Year every year, hostile and reactionary forces often increase sabotage activities, propagate inciting, cause insecurity and disorder, and divide the great national unity bloc.
Therefore, during this peak period, the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the Party's policies and the State's laws on ensuring security, order, crime prevention and law violations.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, heads of agencies, units and localities need to clearly identify the responsibilities of leaders in leading and directing the work of ensuring security and order according to their functions, tasks and areas of responsibility. Thereby, including the results of task implementation in the assessment of work results in 2026 to have close, drastic and effective direction.
"For the provincial police force, it is necessary to closely follow the direction of the Minister of Public Security to synchronously and drastically deploy working measures, resolutely not allowing crimes to spread, not allowing complicated developments to arise," emphasized the Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.
In response to the task requirements during the peak period, Major General Phan Thanh Tam - Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police - requested units, Commune and Ward Police to simultaneously attack and suppress crime; continue to maintain political security and social order and safety. Thereby, ensuring security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Party; the election of 16th National Assembly deputies, the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term and the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
